My "Forest Gump" Moment (a.k.a. Stupid Me)

Yeah, it's just like that.
I had a blinding flash of the obvious about Sally and Rick two days ago -- they currently are and have been having sex.

No, you don't need to alert the media, but apparently I needed alerting.
OK, stop laughing at me, PLEASE!
Why? Well...

 I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but unlike a butter knife, I do have at least a sharp tip. More often than not I end up injuring myself with it. Go figure, right?

Well, just take a quick look at my posts from when I started posting again at the start of 2012 and work through the logic with me.

There was a period of time after "the incident" where I know that they were not having sex, just because of the nature of it. She'd made comments off and on about Rick making passes at her and her avoiding them. He'd been increasing the pressure to get some and I the last time that I knew he'd been rebuffed was at the beginning on February.

Then, not too long ago, she mentioned to me how Rick may not actually try and find a girlfriend for himself. OK, here's where my being slow and dense really shows itself fully! :-(

Being an "average guy", I thought to myself (leading up to writing this post) -- "If I am a guy, not getting any sex and I find that I am now horny, because my wife is having sex with this other guy (cuz that apparently is something that turns him on), what am I going to do?"

Here are the range of potential answers:
A. Do nothing.
B. Do nothing and jerk off.
C. Find a girlfriend.
D. Screw your wife, because you can.

Guess which one is the winner here? Go on, guess...

OK, it's:
D. Screw your wife, because you can.

GRRRRRRRR...

Of course, I COULD be making this all up in my mind.
Uh huh.

Am I going to ask her about it?
That's a very good question.
In a certain sense, I'm positive that there's an answer I don't want to hear.
