... with a first date thrown in for good luck! LOL
Contrary to what my friend told me, this dating thing is pretty fun. I guess my friend may have some "issues". Actually, I know he does. Has never had a relationship for an extended period of time. The ones he has had have ended badly. Still, this post isn't about him. I digress. Back on topic!
So, I had my first second date. It was with the lovely lady from Kenya that I talked about in my last post. I drove out to her area (she lives about an hours drive away) and we spent much of the day together. We had a wonderful time together. I'm looking forward to seeing her again soon.
My first date was last Friday night. She is a school teacher and lives locally to me. We had a full evening of conversation and was great fun. Since then, we have been in touch via e-mail and text message. She's quite witty and very attractive. I'm looking forward to seeing her again soon too!
I've been in touch with the gal that I went on my very first date with, but she's been a bit distant since her return from her work trip. Not quite sure what is happening over there, but she may be out of the running. No idea. When people don't communicate, you can't do much, eh? Who knows how it'll play out.
A few of the others I've talked to have just been more talk and less action. Who knows how they'll play out. All I can do is to put myself out there. How the rest plays out will show itself over time. For now, there's no rush. Just keep focused on my goals -- meeting interesting women, have a good time. It helps not having expectations that are unreasonable.
Another post on my Valentines Day evening to follow...
Glad to hear this!
