Well, I have had lots of phone conversations (one of which was about 2.5 hours long!) and another actual first date on Super Bowl Sunday. I'm counting the long conversations as dates, just so we're clear here. :-)
So here's the update...
Saturday evening I talked with a special education teacher from the East Coast. Great gal and we're looking forward to meeting each other. She's quite cute. I can't wait.
Sunday morning was the marathon conversation. We'd already exchanged quite a few e-mails, so the conversation went deep quickly. It was great. I thought we really hit it off. She's going to contact me with times that might work for her to meet.
Sunday evening was a very nice woman from Kenya... you know, where President Obama is from!?!? LOL. Anyhow, she's been in the U.S. for quite a while and is now a citizen. Very smart and very funny. We hit it off. She was the first woman to ever tell me "you look amazing". I was a bit embarrassed, but also very flattered. It was nice. We are both looking forward to seeing each other again. I hope it will be soon.
I'm enjoying this whole dating thing. It's great fun!!
I am glad you are having so much fun with the dating/talking! Even if they don't turn out serious ... at least you will have that many more friends!
